Little Mommy

The other day we caught Audrie trying to put a diaper on her doll. It was so cute and I didn't have my camera close when she was attempting this. So we were happy to find her trying again yesterday, but this time with her favorite bear. She went over to the diapers and laid it out flat and smashed the bear down onto it. I showed her how to pull the tabs over and we put it on. It was a sweet...unexpected thing she had caught onto. I love watching her use her little mommy skills as I know she watches our every move.

Purple & Orange...It's a sign!!!

Grant has a little superstition when it comes to the Suns. It's when things show up in the colors purple & orange. For example...my shampoo is in an orange bottle and my conditioner is in a purple bottle (And not on purpose). Audrie's sippy cups are purple and orange. He has to have a purple and orange Gatorade on game night. He has orange and purple wrist bands...just to name a few. We look out for these signs as something good to come for the team. I took this picture today and put it as my background on my computer. I sat down to blog and what did I notice???

(Besides being a super cute picture. She was being all girl today helping mom get ready and she wanted to wear a necklace! Good thing she picked the purple one!!!)

Anyway.... The orange thing in her hand is a sun!!! Now you can't get a clearer sign than that!!! Suns play Tuesday night at 7:30! Game 5 Go Suns!!!

We went on our Honeymoon to Disney World...it doesn't take much for me to catch the bug and want to go back. So Audrie has a fun rocking horse that she loves to ride, but the other day I caught her wanting to try and ride a real animal...poor Chester! The funny thing is the Doggie-Horse didn't budge. He just laid there and let her pretend. He is such a good dog!

American Idol

I am a HUGE American Idol Fan and I haven't made any comments about any of the performances. Today I must!!! David Cook did an amazing job last night!!! I am not a huge Mariah Carey fan, but I am a big fan of this song now after David sang it!

I think David Archuleta is amazing as well, but David Cook has been my #1 and I think he's going to stay there! And Brooke White...I think she is original and so sweet, but she is struggling a little bit. I hope she can pull out of this! I would love to see all three stay to the top 3! What a great night last night!

Audrie Learns to Feed the Horses

Audrie loves to feed the horses by Grandma & Grandpa Turley's. She loves picking the grass and even feeds it to them. She holds her hand palm up and fingers flat with no fear. The baby carrots were a little harder, but she fed it to them and got nibbled by their big lips! Which she thought was funny! I love that she loves animals even though her lack of fear could get scary. I just enjoy watching how amazed she is by these big animals in real life!

Audrie's New Piggie-Tails

Eva! You were right!!! It took some effort...and patience, but we did it! I don't think it will last through the day, we still need more hair on the sides, but it's pretty cute!

The Many Happy Faces of Audrie

Audrie is a bubbly little thing! For a few months now she loves to give us the biggest CHEEZ smile she can! I love it because I can get pictures without a fuss and it just makes you happy to see her face! I really love 18 months! She is a happy girl and loves life! Some mornings when she sleeps in, I miss her and can't wait to see her. She is a bright spot in my day! We have been blessed with such a sweet little girl and are so grateful for her in our lives! We LOVE you Audrie!!!
